Ounsdale Comprehensive School
Wombourne, West Midlands (or Staffordshire)
Ounsdale was one of the recently built comprehensive schools built by Staffordshire in the 50s. (Another was Regis where my cousins studied). It had a 5-form entry (30 per form) with the top form called 'C' followed by 'O', 'M' and 'P'. The C students were expected to take a good number of 'O level's, and M would be mostly GCSE, with O somewhere between.
There were a full range of sports facilities including its own swimming pool and a wide range of subject classrooms, a garden, and hall with a fully equipped stage.
